About us
GJU Project Office

We organize exchanges.

The GJU Project Office at Magdeburg-Stendal University manages the transnational education project of the German Jordan University.

The German Jordanian University project

Since the founding of the GJU in 2005, the GJU Project Office has also existed at Magdeburg-Stendal University and supports the German dimension of the GJU financed by the DAAD Transnational Education (TNB) program.

Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences is a strategic partner of GJU, not least due to the extensive activities of the GJU Project Office.

Over the two decades of close cooperation with GJU, the GJU project office has developed into an important player in the international education landscape, focusing on the exchange of knowledge, technology and culture between Jordan and Germany.

The GJU Project Office at Magdeburg-Stendal University manages the GJU transnational education project and thus promotes bilateral cooperation between Germany and Jordan in the areas of higher education, business and research.

In cooperation with GJU, the project office coordinates all German partner groups from these areas. The GJU Project Office also supports numerous projects and initiatives to strengthen the German dimension of GJU. The GJU Project Office processes the application, administration and use of funding for the TNB project, including scholarship and funding programs.

In cooperation with the International Affairs Department (IAD), the German Language Center (GLC) and the Deanship for Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH), the GJU Project Office is designing and supervising the binding Germany Year for all GJU students. Since autumn 2017, it has also been managing its own alumni network (Alumni Ambassador Program, AAP), which organizes GJU alumni working, completing postgraduate or doctoral studies in Germany.

Project management participates in GJU's strategic planning through close cooperation with the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees of the GJU.
